Work from prints, tables, specifications, and acceptance criteria or data to layout and inspect a wide variety of parts, materials, components, sheet metal and composites.
Able to use gages, measuring equipment and other detection methods to ensure product conformance

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required
Capable of performing first piece layout, reading technical drawings, have a working knowledge of GD&T. Capable of performing shop floor, in-process, or machine inspection on machines such as milling, turning, drilling, and grinding. Capable of performing visual and dimensional inspection as part of receiving, in-process, and final.
Must be computer literate with good written and verbal communications skills. Must record inspection results. Responsible for reporting any discrepancies found during inspection process.
Mathematical aptitude required. Impeccable attention to detail a must.
Experience working with engineering specifications, industry standards, aerospace overhaul manuals, and customer specifications and requirements.
Perform bench inspection of machined rings, housings, assemblies, and repairs.
Must have experience and proficiency in the use of dimensional inspection tools and gages such as but limited to: scribes, verniers, calipers, height gages, depth gages, micrometers, cylindrical plugs and thread gages, Pi-tapes, indicators.
CMM and/or FARO operation and programming experience a plus.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED, prefer Associates degree in a technology/science based field Require 1 year of experience in an Inspection environment.
